What Do We Do?

In a world that is becoming increasingly inundated with contradictory messaging, Tierra Verde Expressions relies on evidence- based data to craft simple interpretations for a wide array of scientific concepts.

We partner with organizations to establish a trustworthy, biased- free platform to bridge the gap between the arena of jargon filled academia, and the general public. We do this while taking into account the varying characteristics of our generationally diverse audiences.

We sincerely believe that the path to cooperative action is paved by understanding the complexities of the living environment we borrow from, and the communities that we share it with.

The Face Behind the Voice

Hi! I’m Katherine Wolf, a seasoned bilingual technical and content writer. I am currently a master’s student studying “Medio Ambiente: Dimensiones Humanas y Socioeconómicas” in la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. I received my bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies with an emphasis in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

I have over eight years of experience communicating complex concepts to my audiences through research papers, newsletters, blogs, and news and feature articles.

My love for the natural world started as a young girl when I would spend weeks on my Grandfather’s fishing boat exploring the Alaskan wilderness. Through the years, I’ve discovered my passion for representing the relationship between marginalized communities and the environment. This interest has only continued to grow through the fortune of venturing outside my home state of California and living in Costa Rica, Spain and England. My travels have also brought me to Uganda, Colombia, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Mexico, and countless European countries.

In my free time, I take pleasure in creative writing, surfing, salsa dancing, and photography (all the nature photos featured on this site were taken by yours truly!)

Muchísimas gracias por su atención, me quedo esperando a colaborar juntos!
